Ying Chi, M.D.
Fellowship trained orthopedic hand surgeon
Dr. Chi attended the University of Washington in Seattle where she received her undergraduate degree. She attended the University of Washington School of Medicine where she received her Medical Degree in 2004. She completed a general surgery internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and went on to complete her residency in orthopedics at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where she was the only female orthopedic resident. She completed a Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of California – Irvine. She continues to be involved in academic medicine as a clinical faculty member at the University of California-Irvine.
She is Board Eligible for the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. She is a Candidate Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and a Candidate Member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. She is also a Member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Chi is fluent in Mandarin- Chinese.
